This past week. Busy and fun times.

Yesterday Addie started rolling from tummy to back! Here is a video from yesterday and here is a video from today! She almost has back to tummy down as well. I cannot believe how fast they grow.

This past week has been a lot of fun. Oh and this blog is mainly about my little girl so sorry if I talk about her the whole entire time. (Just a warning) Adalyn and I were able to go to San Francisco with my mom, Katelyn and Brielle for the day. We wanted to do some shopping. We first went to Ikea (love this store) to get a red dresser for Katelyn's nursery it is sooo cute! I ended up getting some baby spoons bowls and plates since she will get to start eating in about 2 months. I am excited to start that new adventure! After that we walked down Market Street and just stopped at the shops there. Brielle was getting school clothes (she missed a day of school for this)... haha. Adalyn loves to be out an about and she had such a blast the whole day. She didn't even take a nap the entire day but she was happy as can be. I ended up getting her a cute outfit even though she already has too many but that's okay. I didn't get myself really anything but I did get this yummy smelling candle at anthropology.

This was on the drive to San Fran. I love my sweet girl. (She loves having a blanket on her face).

For some reason I didn't even think about how cold it was going to be there so I ended up getting her this so that she would be warm!

Brielle was kind of bored in Ikea so she took Addie and she played with her. :)

We celebrated Brendan's bday this week as well! I cannot believe he is 26 already! Time is really going fast. He wanted to go to Dog House so that is where we went. After we ended up going to my grandparents house and we had ice cream cake. It was a lot of fun. (My grandma is sick so she can't really go out anywhere so we decided to come over there to celebrate with them)

Birthday boy!

My brother brock with his son Braxton and then with Addison and his niece Adalyn!
Brock being a good uncle with Addie

My AMAZING grandma and sister.

Tyler came home on his mission this week as well. It was awesome being able to see him! He definitely got taller! I don't have any pictures of him at the airport right now so I will post some later but it was fun to have the whole family together to welcome him home. On that following Sunday we went to Jeff's moms house pretty much all day and this was Adalyn, she wasn't too happy because she didn't get to nap at all.

This was last week. Addie was taking a nap in her swing and my parents came over and as soon as they started talking Addie woke up and got really excited. She loves her Meema and Peepa! Below this picture is one of Addie's favorite toys she can play with this for a long time without getting bored.

Yes, I know there all pictures of Addie but I cannot help myself. It is so much fun to be a mom and I cannot picture life before her anymore. I feel so blessed to have this miracle. I feel so blessed to have the husband that I have. He is such a hard worker and is such an amazing husband and daddy.

Our life these past four months :)

Jeff and I have been pretty busy these pasts months but it has been so much fun! It is especially nice for me because I am actually able to be up and walk around! Let me tell you though being on bed rest for those 7 months really wore me out. I am still trying to do things that I used to be able to do, it definitely took a toll on my body but it was all worth it so I cannot complain!

I am going to start from a few months ago so that I can keep this up to date and then hopefully I will be better about blogging so that I can save some of our memories :) Sorry this is going to be a long post mainly for me to remember everything that has gone on these past few months.

Let's see those first few days home were very tiring but so much fun. We loved just hanging out with our little one. To be honest I just felt relieved that she was here after being told so many times that she might not make it.

Well she was about a month old and I thought I would try to put my ring on.. Well it slipped on but there was a problem.. I couldn't get it off! My finger got extremely swollen and it was so embarrassing I actually had to go to the hospital to get it cut off. Here's a picture... haha

Thankfully its fixed now and I am able to wear it.. haha

We finally have almost finished Addie's room. We were planning on doing her room that weekend but Addie decided she wanted to come earlier than planned which was okay with us!

Here is a couple pictures of her room.. we are STILL working on it and have to add more frames on the right side. Also have to add some curtains that we are currently making but at least its not all a big pile anymore.

For 4th of July this year we actually got to see Kristen and Cody and it was sooo much fun! Adalyn and baby Liam met (future couple) haha Jeff and I ate at broilers with them. Then later that night we went to a movie with my family instead of doing fireworks this time. Addie did really well during the movie. (I am so glad she can sleep through loud noises).

We had Adalyn's blessing about a month ago and it was so amazing. When Jeff blessed her it was one of the best feelings in the world. I am so thankful for the priesthood in my life. Here are some pictures of that day.

                                                          Yeah my sister is gorgeous.

This little boy right here (Braxton) makes me excited to have more kids in the future! I love the way he is with Adalyn. He is sooo adorable and is always taking care of her. He is my first nephew and I have been able to see him grow up from when he was tiny. I love spending Fridays with this guy! Addie was laying on the bed and Brax decided to pick her up and hold her. He is always telling me what Addie likes, what she doesn't like and if shes too hot or too cold.

Jeff and my family went to the lake and it was so fun. The boys got the day off of work and we were all able to relax and just have a great day. It was also Adalyn's first time on the lake.I had so much fun spending the day with my family.

Jeff and I went to Newport for the weekend with a bunch of families. My mom and sister were there as well. They all stay up there for the week but Jeff and I only stayed for the weekend because Jeff had to get back to work. One of the nights we were there my mom watched Addie so that we could go on a date. We rode bikes down the beach all the way to the end of the boardwalk. We stopped and got snow cones and then walked on the beach. It was so nice and relaxing. Jeff and I try out best to go out on dates together and have someone watch Addie because we feel that it is really important to our marriage :)

We had the opportuntiy to get some family pictures taken finally! Chloe Allen did an amazing job and here are just a few of the 200 we got! :)

The semester has started to Jeff is super busy but that is okay. It just means hes getting closer and closer to finishing up school. Three times a week he doesn't get home until 10pm because he works all day and then he goes to school until about 9:50. He is such a hardworking man and I am lucky to be his wife. He makes it to where I am able to stay home with my Addie girl. I am also doing some school as well but I am doing a couple online classes. It will take me longer to finish school but I am okay with that.

I think I am finally up to date on the biggest things that we have done these past few months. Hopefully I will do a better job at updating this thing so that I can look back on it later.

These past 4 months :)

These past four months have gone by so fast! I really need to get better at writing everything down so that I have all these memories. My little Adalyn is already four months old. She is amazing! Time has flown by and I am so blessed to have her in my life.

These are her stats from birth until now:

Birth: 6lbs 1 oz and 19 1/2"

1 months: 7lbs 14oz and 20" - Below 5th Percentile for weight and 10 percentile for height

2 months: 9lbs 12 oz and 10 1/2" - 5th Percentile for weight and 2 percentile for height

4 months: 12lbs 2 oz and 23" - 5th percentile for weight and 10th percentile for height.

I love my little tiny lady!

On June 1st is when she started smiling and this is the day we changed her out of newborn diapers to size 1 diapers.

On August 7th she started talking to us as in cooing and things :)

As of now she LOVES:
- Blankets on her face
- Her paci
- Grabbing toys
- Being sung to
Her Swing
- Tummy time
- Loves people talking to her
-Being outside
- Baths
-Loves when daddy comes home from work

Doesn't like so much:
- Fights her naps
- Sleeping in hrer crib (Still trying to transition her into it) She's been sleeping in a Rock N Play Sleeper at an incline because when lying flat she used to spit up during the night. (She likes to lay in her crib though and watch the mobile go around)

I cannot picture life without my little girl. Jeff and I have grown so much from the whole pregnancy experience to now that she is here. We feel so blessed that she is in our lives and even on those hard days I still feel extremely blessed. Knowing that shes here with us instead of in my tummy makes me feel a whole lot better :)

Welcome home little Adalyn!

I thought it would be fun to share Adalyn's birth story. As many of you know this was a very hard pregnancy which consisted of bedrest to modified bedrest the whole entire time. I had about 45 ultrasounds. We were told over and over again that this was a 50/50 chance. We did our best to stay positive but sometimes I broke down. Thankfully our families were there for us through all of this.
A couple of weeks later it went to a 60/40 chance which made me a little happier but it was still so scary. When we got past 24 weeks they told me to expect a preemie baby so that is what we were preparing for.
At 35 weeks I started showing signs of developing preeclampsia. My doctor decided that I should get induced around 37 + 4 weeks unless things got worse.
Well on April 11th I was not feeling really good. I just wanted to lay around but I could not sleep and had some cramping. On April 12th at 6:30AM my water broke. I was nervous because I just hit the 37 week mark that day and that would mean she was going to be 3 weeks early which made me a little nervous. We got to the hospital and they had to start pitocin and told us that we would see her within 24 hours. I got to 4 centimeters and got the epidural which only worked on one side.. yup I was in a lot of pain. They kept saying that my heart would drop really low so they had to turn down the epidural and give me oxygen. so I felt everything. I also got a small fever which caused Addie to get one as well which scared me. I had to push for 3 hours and she finally arrived at 7:40pm weighing 6 pounds 1 ounce and she was 19 1/2"

She is so healthy and we feel so blessed. The doctor than delivered the placenta. She couldn't believe what it looked like. She showed me what it should look like and she showed me mine and it looked horrible with tons of scarring and weird coloring. She told me 3 times that this really is a miracle baby. They sent the placenta over to pathology so that they could look more into it and test it. We are so thankful for the faith and the prayers from everyone who prayed for us. It was a long road but it was so worth it and I would do it all over again. We could not feel more blessed that she is here after everything. Our prayers were answered.

And now for a pic overload! (Sorry couldn't help myself!)

SO GRATEFUL.

Today I am 27 weeks pregnant! I'm so excited!! Time feels like it's flying now

At 24 weeks 5 days my pernitologist said my placenta has healed and they see me having a regular pregnancy now. Even he was excited. :)They said she looks really healthy and she was measuring in the 52 percentile. They said she has long legs like her daddy:)

This has been such a big deal for me because I have been so worried about this baby from week 6!
Being told that I was going too most likely misscarry about ten different times and having to stay overnight in the hospital for it to "happen." Then them hoping I would make it to 24 weeks so that they could try to keep her in the NICU. They also thought at 24 weeks I would have to be admitted into the hospital and stay there until she was born.

I just wanted to say prayers have been answered and I received an amazing blessing and I truly believe this is why she's still here.  The bleed healed when I started putting the negativity away and started to have more faith. It is so nice to finally be off bedrest. She's a little fighter. Jeff and I cannot wait to meet her.

High-risk pregnancy

I thought it would be a good idea to explain what has been going on since so many people have asked. Kind of a long story....

On August 25th Jeff and I found out out we were pregnant! We were so excited. I was literally only 4 weeks along. I think I took a million pregnancy tests. Well when I was 6 weeks pregnant Jeff and I were on a date night that ended up with me having to go to the hospital. We thought for sure that I miscarried. They did an ultrasound and the baby looked good it was so soon that they said the heartbeat should start beating in the next few days. We couldn't believe it because I always thought if you were bleeding... That it was the worst case scenario.. They did discover that I had a subchorionic bleed that was pretty big. (The baby implanted badly to where it bruised my uterus and has caused a bleed there)

I was told to take it easy. Well at 8 weeks I was in the hospital again.. I was in so much pain. We thought again that I miscarried. The baby had a heartbeat and we couldn't believe it! But a few days later I was in the hospital again.. It was so up and down. Everything was still okay but the bleed was huge and I only had a 50/50 chance of keeping the baby.

I was put on bed rest and when I went to the doctor at 14 weeks they said the bleed was gone. Of course Jeff and I were so extremely happy. I was getting tired of bed rest. The doctor told us it was okay for us to go out of town.. We were headed to Cancun a day later! Once we got to LA we were sleeping at a hotel to catch our flight early that morning.. Well here comes the bad news I ended up in the hospital there. Jeff and I decided we should drive home after I got some IV fluids so that we could be in Fresno. I stayed the night in the hospital in Fresno.. Again being told there was a 50/50 chance of losing the baby.

I got to see a high risk doctor at 17 weeks and the bleed was large at 7x6cm.. The doctor gave us a 60/40 chance this time. We found out that it is a girl!

Today I saw the doctor again.. I'll be 20 weeks on Friday. The doctor said that the bleed has shrunk and its 3x3cm and it looks like its all healing.. My cervix looks great and there are no signs of preterm labor. I'm still on bed rest and we are remaining strong through all of this. We have faith and we are reaming positive. All we can do is remain optimistic and know that this little girl is definitely a fighter through all of this. It has been a roller coaster but we have learned so much from this trial and we are continuing to learn from this.

New Chapter:)

Married life has been amazing so far! I absolutely love it.

Jeff and I have been married for 2 months and about 2 weeks

We got a kitten and named her Dr. Pepper. This picture pretty much explains how she is. She paws at everything.

We finally get a break from school for a week so that we can finally go on our Honeymoon! in 11 days we will be going on a cruise to the Bahamas and we cannot wait!

We are also excited to go see the Hunger Games Premeire with my family on Thursday.

We have been pretty busy with school and work so our apartment is not all decorated yet but it is getting there! We are still waiting for a big picture that is coming in April for our living room so I will show pictures of that later. The only thing that is completely done is our kitchen area. I will have more pictures of our apartment soon!

That is pretty much it for now.
