I always look forward to the weekends because that is when Me, Jeff and Addie get to spend a good chunk of time together. I LOVE spending time as a family. I must say it is the best thing ever.
This Saturday we went up to Shaver Lake just to get out of Fresno for the day. Sometimes it still feels weird being able to go wherever and do pretty much whatever I want to do. I was so confined while I was pregnant that every time I am able to do something little I am so grateful. I really used to take that for granted.
It was fun because Jeff showed me the cabin that his family used to have and he was talking about the memories he had there. It was fun to see some of the things that him and his dad did together when he was younger. We also went to my old cabin as well. We realized our parents both had cabins around the same time so we were both always near the same places it seems but didn't see to much of each other after I switched schools in middle school.
We ended up eating at a little bar and grill that my family used to go to while visiting our cabin and it was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from today. Adalyn has a blast going places and LOVES being outside.
I am glad we got home at a good time because now we are just going to relax and put a redbox movie in. Aren't little things in life are so much fun?

Time Flies!
LONG POST AND PIC OVERLOAD! I need to do this more so these posts aren't so long.
This month has been awesome! Addie is 5 months and oh my gosh it is so much fun! This is my favorite stage yet! I am sure I will be saying that about the months to come but she has really grown so much and she talks, squeals, laughs like crazy! She definitely knows who her mom and dad are!
On Fridays I get the opportunity to watch my little nephew Braxton. He is so much fun and loves Adalyn like crazy. Brax loves watching cartoon spiderman and things and when the "bad guys" are on TV he covers her eyes and tells me that Addie cannot watch this because it will scare her. If Addie starts to cry he runs to her and says "BINA SHE NEEDS HER PACI WHERE IS IT?" He is such a sweet boy.
On Labor Day Jeff and I decided to get Addie's ears pierced. I was really nervous about getting them done and I kept going back and forth on it. I didn't want to make her cry. She did surprisingly well! She was hungry before getting them pierced so she was getting a little fussy and was crying before they even pierced them. Once they were done I fed her and she was totally fine. She doesn't even notice them so that is nice.
Addie has started to teeth. She has no teeth yet but literally chomps hard on everything. Literally everything goes into her mouth so we had to go get some teething toys and she loves them! She also loves "milksicles"
At first Addie didn't like her play mat but she has grown to love it! She can sit under there for a good 30 minutes without getting bored! She also loves her jumper even though her feet cant reach; I just put a pillow underneath it:)
Whenever daddy gets home from work Addie gets sooo excited! Jeff is really busy with school and work right now. I cannot wait until this semester is over! He has class until 9 or 10pm on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays so she is already asleep by the time he gets home. Every time Jeff gets home from school he gets bummed when Addie is down for the night.
Me, my mom, sister and Addie when to Shaver Lake for the day last Saturday. Let's just say it was gorgeous and we found a spot where a lot of people don't go. It sort of reminds me of the beach but its gorgeous with all the trees around. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to get out of Fresno for the day. It made our lives not feel so "busy" all the time and was just so peaceful. I think Jeff and I may go there this weekend. After that I called Jeff and he was with Brendan and Katie watching the BYU game so I went over there with them and we watched the game.
Addie and I have a pretty good routine down now. She sleeps through the night which is soo nice. She wakes up around 6am to eat and then she will go back to sleep around 9 (I LOVE THIS) then she will wake up and eat and then she gets a bath every morning. (She loves them). Then we start our day :)
BATH
Sometimes I just sit and stare at her while she is sleeping and always think about how blessed I am to have her. We have hard days but mostly great days. I am so thankful that she made it after all that we both went through during the pregnancy. My testimony has strengthened from her and I have gained so much more patience (something I needed) from her. I have also learned to have more faith and have learned to ask for help when I need it.
Last night me and Addie went to Brendan's and Katie's for dinner with the family before we went to watch Brielle cheer. Katie made a copy of Cafe Rio and it was AMAZING. It was a fun night.
My grandma was in the hospital for awhile and they found out she had tons of blood clots in her legs so she had to have a procedure done and now she is working on getting some strength back. She is at a rehabilitation center for about another week. I cannot wait for her to be at home and more comfortable. She is an amazing person. I look up her to so much.
I didn't post the video but this is Jeff dancing with Addie. The video is sooo cute but I am sure Jeff would be a little embarrassed if I posted it!
